Raymond L. Souza, 88, formerly of Salem, NH and Woburn, MA passed away on August 13th.
He was the seventh from a family of eight born to Manual and Deolinda Souza in Attleboro. Ray served in the Navy during WW II from 1943 – 1946 aboard the USS Mango, a net tender. He worked for McAlister/Bicknell for many years, learning his trade as a glassblower. He then worked for the Watertown Arsenal and later Ciba Geigy before retiring. He survived his wife Florence who passed away in 2006.

John of Port Charlotte, FL,
Paul and Renee of Oakland. CA,
Mark and wife Christine of Maui, HI
Glen of Peabody, MA
Brothers: Manuel of Wells, ME
Bernie of Hampton, NH
13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Aug. 20th at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH. Calling hours will be Monday, Aug. 19th from 4-8PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Memorial contributions in Ray’s name may be sent to D’Youville Capitol Campaign, 981 Varnum Ave, Lowell, MA 01854.
